Driver hits moving train and survives wreck

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A driver hits a train but still manages to walk away from the wreck.

Police say a woman ignored the warning devices on the railroad crossing on Waller Avenue in Lexington and drove right into a moving train.

It happened just before 2 a.m. Friday.

Police tell us the woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

They say they are not sure if alcohol was a factor in the wreck.
