Murder suspect: history of drugs, stealing and criminal trespassing
Lewis has been found guilty and served time for crimes stemming back to 2007. That year he was incarcerated for alcohol intoxication and criminal trespassing.
In 2009 court document show he was found guilty of theft by deception for writing bad checks to Domino’s Pizza.
In 2010 he was found guilty for having cocaine and attempting to promote contraband. He also was found guilty of criminal trespassing later that year.
Court document show in 2011 Lewis was found guilty of shoplifting two cans of baby formula from Walmart.
In 2012 he was found guilty on possession of marijuana charges. He also failed to appear in court. Documents note behavioral problems.
Most recently he is accused of the murder and robbery of Pizza Hut delivery driver Salahuddin Jitmoud. Jitmoud was found with his neck cut on April 19 by neighbors. Police say it was a robbery and a murder.
Lewis is scheduled to be arraigned in Fayette County District Court at 1 p.m. Police do not expect any more arrests in this case.
