Update: Powell County Shooting Suspects In Custody

 Two suspects wanted in connection to a shooting in Powell County are now in custody.

 Kentucky State Police said Michael Skidmore and James Ervin Hunt approached 62-year-old Simon Stacy Monday evening on Star Gap Road while he was camping.

 Stacy told police the men got into his Ford Explorer, took out his shotgun and fired at him.

 He said they then took off.

 Police later located his vehicle.

 Skidmore turned himself in Tuesday evening and is now in the Powell County Detention Center charged with assault.

 Hunt is also in the Powell County Detention Center. He is booked on outstanding warrants, according to the jail.
