LPD: Driver led police on chase before crashing into home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say a man’s being questioned after a car ended up hitting a house on Breckenridge Street in Lexington.

Officers say they tried to pull over a BMW this afternoon because it matched the description of a car seen during an assault over the weekend. According to police, the driver refused to pull over. Officers say the pursuit started on 6th street, but officers later backed off as the BMW started to increase its speed.

Police say they later found the car after it hit the house. The damage to the home was described as minor.
