Amber Alert for child taken in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a child taken out of Bowling Green Thursday morning.

Police say 5-year-old Aubrey Madison Johnson was taken by 21-year-old Rique R. Griffin.

According to police, Aubrey was with her mother and Griffin when Griffin and the mother got into an altercation while traveling down Morgantown Road at around 2:30 a.m. Police say Griffin assault the mother, who was able to get away and call 911. They say Griffin then drove off with Aubrey in vehicle.

Police say Aubrey is 2 feet and 5 inches, 35 lbs, has a chipped front tooth, a scar on left thigh and both ears pierced. She was wearing a button-down jean shirt, jeans with white fllower pattern, no shoes, a lime green bow in her hair.

Griffin is described as 5’9", 165 lbs, with a Mohawk-style haircut with dreadlocks. He has a scar over his right eye and a tattoo over the right eye that is a vein. He also has a tattoo on the back of his neck that reads: "ATL."
