Intruder shot while forcing way into Lexington home

It happened Friday night on Roosevelt Blvd. Officers say two men were arguing earlier in the day Friday. Later Friday evening, police say one of the men forced his way into the others’ home.

Officers say the man who lived there shot the second man. The man who fired the shots will not be charged, according to police.

The man who forced his way into the home was taken to UK where he was treated before heading to jail. Police say he’s been charged with burglary.
