Kentucky National Guard Humvee Crashes Outside Springfield

State Police said a Kentucky National Guard Humvee crashed on KY 1183, seven miles outside of Springfield on Thursday.

Investigators said Anthony L. Harrison, 29, of Radcliffe, was southbound on KY 1183 when he rounded a curve, dropped off the shoulder of the road, struck an embankment and overturned numerous times.

State Police said Harrison and a passenger, Phillip Powell, 35, of Richmond, were wearing seat belts.

Harrison was taken to Spring View Hospital in Lebanon for his injuries.
