Accident in Scott Co. sends one to hospital

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – One woman was taken to the hospital with head injuries, following an accident in Scott Co.

Acorrding to Georgetown police, it happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night.  Police say a driver in a Camaro was trying to change lanes on I-75 in Georgetown when the Camaro and a semi-truck bumped into each other.  The car flipped into a ditch.

Firefighters say two adults and two children were in the car.  Only one person from the Camaro was taken to the hospital.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt.

State Police are investigating the accident.
