4 charged with making meth in Whitley Co.
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police made 4 arrests in Whitley Co. after receiving an anonymous tip that several people were making meth in a home on KY HWY 92 East.
Officers say the tip came in Tuesday, April 7 at about 5:20 p.m. They say when they got to the home, they saw 4 people run from the house into a wooded area. Police were able to capture all of the suspects after a short foot chase. When they brought the suspects back to the house, investigators say they found an active one-step meth lab, along with drug paraphernalia, and materials for manufacturing meth.
Police arrested 29-year old Johnny Hill, 33-year-old Shelly Lawson, 27-year-old Jennifer Mattie, and 21-year-old Dillon Croley, all from Williamsburg. They were taken to the Whitley Co. Detention Center. Mugshots for Lawson and Dillon were not available.
