2 die in western Kentucky house fire
OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) — A coroner says two people have died in a western Kentucky house fire.
Daviess County Coroner Jeff Jones told The Messenger-Inquirer (http://bit.ly/1IDS1Oe) that the blaze was reported early Friday morning and responding firefighters found two bodies. He did not release their identities.
Owensboro Fire Battalion Chief Steve Leonard says a police officer patrolling in the area spotted the blaze about 2 a.m.
Firefighters were still at the scene late Friday morning. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
