Search For Home Intruder

The search continues for a home intruder in Lexington.

It happened just before two Monday morning on Allegheny Way.

The victim says she was having trouble sleeping, so she was watching TV.

That’s when she heard someone coming inside, using the door that connects to her garage.

The woman told police she thought it was her husband. She was shocked when she saw a stranger standing inside her home.

The man ran off when the woman screamed. No one was hurt.

Police tell us the garage door had been left open at the time of the crime. They also say the woman had recently gotten back from a trip out of the country.

A search of the area turned up nothing.
