Marriage equality town hall in Lexington Tuesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As the Supreme Court prepares to hear oral arguments in Kentucky’s marriage cases on April 28, the Campaign for Southern Equality and Freedom to Marry are hosting a town hall in Lexington to discuss what’s next for marriage equality in the Bluegrass State.

In January, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear six consolidated marriage cases out of Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky, with a ruling potentially by June.

The town hall will be held at the Carnegie Center at 251 W. 2nd Street from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The event is free to the public.
