Firefighters called to fire on Transylvania Park In Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The fire department is wrapping up at the scene of a fire on Transylvania Park in Lexington. The street connects Euclid Avenue and Maxwell Street, not far from the U.K. campus.

The call came in around 9:30 tonight. More than a dozen units responded. According to firefighters, a man came home to find a small fire in his bathroom. By the time crews arrived, they say the fire had burned itself out.

Power did have to be cut to the home. No one was injured, and firefighters say the fire did not spread to any other part of the house.
