Construction crews in Louisville find skull
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Metro Louisville police say a skull found at a construction site had been at the location for at least seven years.
Police spokesman Lt. Todd Kessinger told media that construction crews building a road to a future Habitat for Humanity community found the skull on Monday night.
Kessinger said investigators are treating the case as a death investigation and contacting current and previous property owners to find out more about the history of the land.
He said there was no obvious trauma to the skull, but the medical examiner’s office also will investigate.
