Prince Charles, Camilla to visit Louisville next week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Britain’s Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, visit Louisville next week, and more details about their itinerary have been released.
Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, will be in Louisville on March 20 as part of a four-day trip to the U.S., including three days in Washington, D.C.
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear’s office said in a news release that Beshear and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer are hosting a cultural festival at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, and Charles and Camilla are scheduled to attend.
Camilla will also visit a community center in the Portland neighborhood as well as a reception at Churchill Downs for an animal welfare organization, The Brooke USA.
