Laurel sheriff’s deputies search for suspect after pursuit

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County sheriff’s deputies were searching for 48-year old James "Jamie" Harrison of London following a pursuit that left a deputy’s cruiser damaged Monday night, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Investigators say the pursuit happened around 7:15 p.m., that ultimately endangered the lives of citizens and law enforcement officers.  Deputies say Harrison was driving a black Jeep Compass with Massachusetts license plate 1HK483.

Deputies say Harrison was last seen driving the vehicle on Twin Branch Road, about 7-miles northeast of London.  He is described as 6’0," 200-pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.  Investigators say Harrison’s last known address was on Old Way Road in London.
