UPDATE: Suspected post office burglar arrested

EAST BERNSTADT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man they suspect in a post office burglary.  Investigators say 31 year-old Kenneth Maggard of East Bernstadt was arrested Friday around 4 in connection with the case.

According to authorities, Maggard admitted to opening 5 mailboxes at the post office with a screwdriver and took items out of them. Investigators say everything that was taken has been recovered.
