Law students from more than 100 schools head to Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Hundreds of future lawyers are heading to Louisville next month for the National Conference of Law Reviews.
The University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law is hosting the event March 11 through 14 for the first time since 1986.
Students from more than 100 different law schools are expected to attend the conference, bringing together students who write and edit for a law review. The publications give scholars a chance to sharpen their legal research and writing skills.
U of L Law Review managing editor Leah Gravius says she wants the conference to boost the Brandeis profile, generate revenue for the city and give good information to those who attend.
