Cats seen, but not heard
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The sounds of basketball are the squeaks of soles, the bounce of the ball, the stampede of shoes and the frenzy of the fans. But for the very best teams, that’s all drowned out by constant chatter on the court.
Cats still talking the talk after Saturday’s 68-61 win over Florida, Kentucky the lone undefeated team in men’s college basketball.
After the game, Karl Towns said the Cats couldn’t her each other on defense, causing some leaks in UK’s usual airtight defense.
Coach Cal wasn’t trying to hear that, saying Towns was as quiet as a country mouse.
