One person shot at adult entertainment club overnight

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say a man suffered non-life threatening injuries early Sunday morning when he was shot in the leg at an adult entertainment spot in Lexington.

According to police, it happened at Diamonds on Winchester Road. Police say they got called for shots fired and by the time they got there, most people had fled the scene.

The victim, according to police is a 25-year-old man who says he was hit when two rounds were fired off in the club. Police say he was taken to UK.

The investigation is ongoing.
