Scream scares off burglars

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police said a scream stopped some burglars in their tracks Tuesday morning.
 
They say the suspects entered a home on Norborne Drive in Lexington before 2 a.m.
 
Police say they got into the home through the basement.
 
The man and woman in the home woke up when one of the suspects opened their bedroom door.

Police say the woman screamed and the suspects ran out of the home.

They did steal items.

Police are still searching for those suspects.
