Lexington family displaced after house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington fire department says a family was displaced after a house fire on Londonderry Drive.

It happened around 7:15 tonight. Investigators say there was one person home at the time.  That person is okay. But firefighters say one cat was killed in the fire, and another is missing.

Investigators believe the fire started in the back of the home. They’re still trying to figure out how it started.
