Police: Man Admits To Witness He Was Behind Shooting

 Court documents are shedding more light on Lexington’s second homicide of 2015.
 
 According to the documents, Alejandro Dominguez-Hernandez, 23, was ambushed during an exchange for drugs and the man accused of his murder admitted he committed the crime to a witness.
 
 Felix Rodriguez, 20,  was charged with murder of Dominguez-Hernandez, who was found shot several times in a car on Johnston Road Monday night..
 
  Kentucky State Police said a witness is cooperating with their investigation. They said Rodriguez told the witness that they intended to kill Dominguez-Hernandez  while meeting with him to buy cocaine.
 
 Rodriguez told the witness when Dominguez-Hernandez got into the back seat of the car to complete the transaction, he ran out from behind a barn and shot into the vehicle.
 
 Dominguez-Hernandez was fatally wounded.
 
 Police said the details provided by the witness are consistent with their evidence..
 
 Rodriguez will be arraigned Thursday..
