FBI Names Carjacking Suspect From Danville
The FBI is looking for information on a Danville man it said was involved in a carjacking in Missouri.
Two men believed to be Robert “Robbie” Caldwell of Danville, Kentucky, and an unidentified black male, allegedly carjacked an individual on January 23, 2015 in the Kansas City, Missouri area. The victim was able to escape after a struggle with his assailants and was recovered near St. Louis, Missouri.
At least one of the suspects, believed to be Robert Caldwell, fled in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Bardstown Kentucky after getting involved in a car accident. After the accident, a gray 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse bearing KY tag 663JKY was stolen and it is believed that Robert Caldwell may be currently driving this vehicle. Law Enforcement has information that indicates Caldwell was in the Danville area last evening and may have headed toward Lexington Kentucky.
Caldwell is 25-years-old and from the Danville area. Caldwell is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding Caldwell should contact law enforcement immediately.
