Police Investigate Shooting At Martial Arts Center

Folks at a martial arts center on Floyd Drive told ABC 36 there was a fundraiser going on when shots rang out early Sunday morning at the Floyd Drive location.

Lexington Police said it happened after 2AM and when they responded, hundreds of people fled the scene. Officers said they found a male victim on the ground with a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to UK with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers are still investigating the shooting and have no suspect information at this time.
