UPDATE: Man Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend To Death Due In Court Tuesday

Lexington Police said they charged Matthew Donaghy, 20, with murder in connection to the stabbing death of his boyfriend, Todd Schumacher, 40, who was found dead in the couple’s home on Lamont Drive on Sunday night.

Donaghy was scheduled to make his first court appearance on the murder charge in Fayette District Court on Tuesday.

He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Investigators did not say what reportedly led to the deadly stabbing.
