Company to locate global headquarters in northern Kentucky

ERLANGER, Ky. (AP) — The global headquarters of Avure Technologies Inc. is being located in northern Kentucky, creating 16 jobs and including an investment of $3 million.

Gov. Steve Beshear announced the project Monday.

Avure’s facility in Erlanger will serve as the company’s global headquarters with a food research lab and customer service center.

Beshear’s office says Avure decided to relocate the food lab and headquarters to Erlanger to be closer to its equipment manufacturing location in Ohio.

Avure develops high-pressure processing systems for removal of foodborne pathogens in packaged foods.

The state has offered tax incentives up to $300,000 to encourage the project.
