State Legislature To Consider Medical Marijuana
Kentucky lawmakers will consider medical marijuana during the General Assembly.
House Speaker Greg Stumbo supported a bill to make it legal for people to smoke marijuana for medical purposes.
Stumbo said the bill would require doctors to be trained before they could prescribe it.
He also said the state would need a strict oversight system for it.
