Police: Man Tasered After Wrench Threat
Lexington police say they were forced to taser a man they said came at them with a wrench.
They were called to 848 Nandino Boulevard just before 2 a.m. Tuesday after someone spotted a man who appeared to be trying to steal a battery from a vehicle.
Officers said they found a man under a truck and that he would not come out.
When they were finally able to get him out from under the truck, they said he charged at them holding a wrench and they used a taser on him.
He is expected to be charged with trespassing, menacing and attempted theft.
Police said he also had an outstanding warrant.
