Woman Struck By Lightning Dies

 A woman struck by lightning during last week’s thunderstorms died over the weekend.
 The Lexington Herald-Leader said 67-year-old Kathlyn Friend died on Saturday.
 She was rushed to the University of Kentucky hospital after being hit by lightning Thursday evening while working outside on her farm in Jessamine county.
