LPD: Would-Be Robber Leaves Home Empty Handed

Lexington Police said a would-be robber went away empty handed after forcing his way into a woman’s home on Laverne Court on Thursday night.

Investigators said a woman answered a knock on her front door around 8:00 p.m., and that she was greeted by a man who implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

But, police said he left without getting any money.

As of this writing, no one had been arrested.
