I-65 north closed at Upton in Larue County

A wreck involving several semi trucks has closed down northbound Interstate 65 in southwestern Larue County near Upton.

The Transportation Cabinet says the crash Thursday happened at mile point 77 in a construction zone, which is making it more difficult to clear.

The cabinet says the road will be closed several hours.

Motorist are asked to exit at mile 76 and take U.S. 31W back to I-65.
