Richmond PD: Man Struck Wife’s Vehicle With Hatchet
Richmond police accused a Beattyville man in a crime that involved a hatchet.
Officers said Jeffrey Sparks used it last week to hit his wife’s vehicle, while she was in it.
Police said the woman exited the vehicle and ran off.
According to officers, the vehicle then rolled backward down a hill and crashed into a home on McDaniel Avenue.
Police said the home had some minor damage.
Sparks was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.
