Boyle Co. Barn Fire Burns 20,000 Pounds Of Tobacco

A barn fire in Boyle County Wednesday burned 20,000 pounds of tobacco.

The Danville Advocate-Messenger said it started around 3:30p.m. on Lancaster Road.

Smoke could reportedly be seen for miles.

Both the barn and the tobacco were destroyed, according to emergency management.
