Investigators Suspect Arson In Case Of Home Fire

Lexington fire investigators are looking into a fire they said was intentionally set overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.

Firefighters put the fire out early Sunday morning at Menifee and Preston. They said the fire had multiple points at which it was set.

Just before that fire started, they said a couch was pulled into the street on Owsley and set fire. They’re looking into whether the incidents are related.

Investigators said the house was vacant at the time of the fire which was contained to the back of the house.
