Recently-Released Sex Offender Back In Jail
A sex offender who just got out of prison for the rape of a teenage girl is back behind bars in Boyle County after deputies say they found him with another teenage girl.
28-year-old David Anthony Farmer was arrested Monday.
Farmer is a registered sex offender, previously convicted for third degree rape in a case where his victim was just 15 years old.
Deputies say they found Farmer sitting with a 16-year-old girl on Monday, on the side of Knob Lick Road in Junction City.
It was there they discovered Farmer was no longer living at the Super 8 Motel in Danville. That’s where he claimed to be staying.
He has been charged with “failure to comply with sex offender registration.”
Farmer also picked up a second charge after deputies found out that he had a Facebook account.
Registered sex offenders are not allowed to use social networking, instant messaging or chat room sites accessible by minors.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
