Fire Slows Traffic In Downtown Lexington

A fire broke out at a downtown apartment, closing traffic for a while Saturday.
 
Firefighters said it started at an unoccupied apartment at 333 Main Street. Some images we received from a witness on the scene showed flames coming from the balcony of that apartment.

This all happened just before two Sunday afternoon. Firefighters said they didn’t know what started the fire and that investigation is ongoing.
