UPDATE: Former UK Football Player Recovering At Cardinal Hill After Stadium Fall

Former UK Head Football Coach Rich Brooks visited one of his former players on Thursday, who is recovering from a life-threatening fall at Commonwealth Stadium.

Brooks tweeted out a picture of former Wildcat Brad Durham at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Lexington, where Durham is recovering from a 35-foot fall at the stadium during the South Carolina game on October 4, 2014.

Durham was released from UK Hospital a few days ago and moved to Cardinal Hill to continue his recovery from back surgery.

Brooks said Durham expected to be at Cardinal Hill for 1-to-2 weeks.

Durham played for Kentucky from 2007-to-2010.

Prior to coming to UK, he was a star student-athlete at Rockcastle County High School.

A fund is in place at Central Bank for donations to help Durham with his mounting medical bills.

The fund is called ‘The Brad Durham Donation Account.’
