Ohio prosecutor to discuss I-75 slaying
LEBANON, Ohio (AP) — A southwest Ohio prosecutor plans to provide an update in the investigation of the slaying of a Kentucky woman on Interstate 75.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell scheduled a Monday news conference in the case of 41-year-old Terry Froman. He’s been accused of killing his estranged girlfriend’s son in Kentucky, kidnapping her and then killing her on I-75.
Froman was arrested Sept. 12. Authorities say he was treated for a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the body of 34-year-old Kim Thomas was in his car on the interstate, which police had shut down.
A Lebanon (LEB’-uh-nun) municipal judge referred Froman’s case to a grand jury and ordered him to remain held under $1 million bond. Court records show no attorney for the Brookport, Illinois, man, who also faces charges in Kentucky.
