7 Tornadoes Confirmed In Kentucky

The National Weather Service confirmed seven tornadoes hit Kentucky on Tuesday.

The weather service reported one woman was injured in Bourbon County when an EF-1 tornado pulled her from her Paris home.  The weather service said she landed in her driveway and required stitches.

The weather service said homes, warehouses, roofs, outbuildings, trees and power lines were damaged in the storms.
 
Here is a list of confirmed tornadoes from the National Weather Service :

  • EF-1 north of Georgetown in Scott County
  • EF-1 in Stamping Ground in Scott County
  • EF-1 near Cynthiana in Harrison County
  • EF-1 in Paris in Bourbon County
  • EF-1 in Sharpsburg in Bath County
  • EF-1 in Salt Lick in Bath County
  • EF-0 in New Columbus in Owen County

These are all preliminary designations from the National Weather Service.
