Two Injured In Laurel County Crash

Deputies there said it happened around 10:30 on East Laurel Road near the Clay County line. Deputies said the driver fell asleep and "when his wife poked him to awaken him, he was startled and jerked the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to slide on the wet roadway."

The driver and his passenger were not seriously injured. Deputies also said there was a two-year-old in the vehicle who was not injured.
