Southern Legislative Conference Coming To Lexington

Lexington is set to play host to an annual meeting of legislators, expected to have a major economical impact on the city.

In July 2016, the Southern Legislative Conference will meet in Lexington. Conference organizers expect it to draw around fifteen thousand lawmakers, policy experts and business leaders to the area.

Those organizers also said holding the conference in Lexington will create around two million dollars for the local economy.
