Grandmother Accused Of Leaving Child In Hot Car
A Whitley County grandmother was accused of leaving a 14-month old boy in a hot car while she went in to a store, according to police.
Investigators said it happened October 2, 2014, outside a Goodwill store in Williamsburg.
Police said Vicki Jones, 58, of Rockholds, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
According to the jail Website, she bonded out the day after her arrest.
Police said when they arrived on the scene, the little boy was in the car sweating and had a bright red face.
Police said the boy was checked out and was okay.
