UPDATE: Art Bar In Lexington Ordered To Close For One Week

The ruling Friday meant that the Art Bar on Euclid Avenue could not reopen any earlier than October 10th, pending a hearing on a temporary restraining order.

Neighbors had complained about the noise, fights, shootings and the trash around the business.

The city applauded the ruling.

The Board of Adjustment had revoked the bar’s conditional use permit a week ago.

While it should have forced it to close, the bar remained open.
