Franklin County To Host Medical Disposal Day

The Frankfort Police Department is asking anyone with old, unused, or unneeded prescriptions or over the counter medication to the Franklin County Health Department Saturday.

The Health Department will be accepting the medication from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at their location on Glenn Creeks Road.

Officers will dispose of the medication in an environmentally concious manner. The police department says the goal is to get dangerous drugs away from the community.
