Media industry group elects leaders from Ga., Ala.
ATLANTA (AP) — Media executives from Georgia and Alabama have been chosen to lead the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association and its board of trustees.
SNPA announced Tuesday at its annual convention in Charlottesville, Virginia, that Charles Hill Morris, regional manager of Georgia-based Morris Multimedia, has been elected president of the media trade organization.
Morris Multimedia owns newspapers, magazines and television stations, primarily in the Southeast.
Donna Barrett, president and CEO of Montgomery, Alabama-based Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., has been re-elected as chairwoman of the SNPA Foundation Board of Trustees.
CNHI owns publications in 23 states spanning the Southeast, the Mid-Atlantic, the Midwest and New England.
