Kentucky, Pennsylvania police hunt fugitive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Police from southern Kentucky and Pennsylvania have been searching for a man sought for questioning in a homicide after the car he was driving crashed during a police pursuit.

Bowling Green Police Officer Ronnie Ward told The Daily News (http://bit.ly/1rq2lml ) the man was last seen early Thursday when he fled on foot from officers and police dogs.

The man had been driving a vehicle that was reported stolen. Investigators determined the vehicle was connected to a homicide in Pennsylvania.

The search prompted Warren County Public Schools to go on lockdown Thursday.

Ward did not release the man’s name, but said he’s not connected to the manhunt in Pennsylvania for Eric Frein. Frein is being sought on charges of shooting and killing a Pennsylvania State Trooper last week.
