Rolls of Carpet Fuel Overnight Fire in Lexington
A weekend fire did major damage to a Lexington garage.
It happened at a home on Upper Street early Sunday morning. Firefighters said heavy smoke and fire were showing when they got there.
No one was hurt. Firefighters said there were rolls of carpet in the building that fueled the fire. No word on the cause but firefighters stayed on scene all night to prevent any flare ups.
