Police: Woman Stabs Boyfriend During Fight
A woman was arrested Wednesday following an early-morning stabbing in Lexington.
Police responded to a home at 3864 Wem Drive just before 12:45 a.m.
They said a boyfriend and girlfriend got into a fight and the woman then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the torso.
He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Jacalyn McColgan and charged her with alcohol intoxication.
Police said she will also be charged with assault.
