Man Wanted For Shooting Brought Back To KY
The Fayette County Sheriff said a man wanted in connection to a shooting is behind bars in Lexington.
Daniel Martinez, 40, was brought back from Illinois on Tuesday.
Martinez is charged with first-degree assault.
He is accused of shooting a man in the back on Cambridge Drive in July of this year.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and on September 5th.
The Fayette County Sheriff said Martinez was taken into custody following a routine traffic stop in Illinois.
